Roostr is a platform that connects self employed nurses and carers directly with employers looking for temporary care staff, allowing them to choose the pay, the shifts, the jobs they want. By cutting out the middleman, the professional has better earning potential and the employer still pays less.
Beyond worked on all aspects of app and digital design, taking a lead, when required and kept the project on brand and at the forefront of digital technology.
What we did
Roostr approached us in the Summer of 2018, their team were in need of creative direction and a new digital presence that would give them a platform to market themselves successfully.
The team at Beyond listened to their main aims and worked out a visual and digital strategy, which we then deployed as an overall marketing solution across both print and digital platforms.
Working on the Roostr app has been a pleasure, we worked out a system in which we could deliver the key requirements of the user in a simple but effective flow.
We designed a solution that consisted of 15 screens, taking the user through various different steps in the process, this included: registration, setting their working hours, and hourly rate.
This data is then used by Roostr to connect the user with a matched care home, allowing both the employee more freedom in their working and recruitment environments. The app is currently in development and will be launched later this year!
To compliment the digital solutions that we came up with, we were also tasked with creating a set of promotional printed materials, in a variety of different formats.
These included: a series of banners, A5 leaflets, document folders and newspaper advertising. All of the artwork needed to clearly portray Roostr’s message in a defined tone of voice and retain their brand integrity.
"Beyond have been instrumental in developing Roostr’s brand image. Daniel worked within our initial guidelines & developed some eye-catching adverts & marketing material. He also designed our website which is modern & user-friendly.”
George Colwell, Roostr
To market the new Roostr platform we created a newspaper advertising campaign to go out in the local news outlet, as part of an overall print campaign. This helped increase Roostr’s visibility, and was accompanied by animated web banners. Traditional marketing but still effective!
