Personifying Wines through Bespoke and emotive illustrations

Our designers worked closely with the owner and CEO, to understand the unique characteristics and stories behind the winery’s three flagship wines: Diplomat, Dreamer, and Warrior.
Through extensive communication and collaboration, we developed graphics that personified these wines – giving them a distinct identity and emotional resonance. To further enhance the visual experience, the graphics were animated, adding depth and movement for an immersive, captivating experience.

The artistic style draws heavily from the stories behind the wines, drawing their distinct characters out into a visual representation of each. It’s tactile, dramatic – and conveys the emotional impact that the client wanted to express.

An Immersive Website Experience.

With the visual direction, story and content in place, our team moved onto the website design phase. The client wanted something different – an artistic, immersive experience that would transport visitors into the world of the winery.
We aimed to showcase the craftsmanship and passion behind each bottle, by demonstrating craftsmanship in our own work.
The design process was iterative; our team worked closely with the client to refine and perfect every aspect of the website. From the layout and navigation, to the colour scheme and typography – every detail was carefully considered to create a cohesive but captivating user experience.

Fine art meets modern technology.

To bring the website to life, our development team used cutting-edge web technologies; Next.js, React and Sanity CMS. These powerful tools allowed us to create a seamless interactive website experience.
By rendering assets server-side, we were able to deliver lightning-fast performance without compromising on the quality and character of the content. And by hosting the site on Vercel, we ensured optimal performance and reliability – for a smooth and enjoyable browsing experience.
Our developers worked tirelessly to implement the designs, integrate the animated graphics, and optimise the website for search engines. This set the stage for the winery’s online presence, and helped make the brand discoverable by wine enthusiasts around the world.

Legendary results.

A stunning website that captured the essence of the winery and its exceptional wines. A vision fully realised, from concept to delivery. Performance in search, and a real connection with customers.
The client was – and still is – delighted with our work.
As they travel to wine shows and events, they consistently receive positive comments and praise for their impressive online presence. The website brought their vision to life, and showcases the winery’s products – but it also tells a compelling story.
It has connected with people on a deep level, and brought out their best qualities for all to see.
